Skilled migrant resident visa
The government has announced that the Skilled Migrant Resident Visa category will re-open in November 2022.
Gradually the immigration policy is returning to a fully useable situation. People needing visas in all categories can have confidence in the policy again. Skilled Migrant: Some basic facts to consider.
Stage 1. Expression of Interest. (EOI)
Immigration NZ costs $590.00
Timeframe first selection from the pool will be 9th November 2022
Then in the new year (2023) every 3rd Wednesday of every monthAtesh Narayan will assist you in determining the level of points needed to qualify to lodge an EOI. Currently, 160 points are needed to be placed into the EOI pool for selection to move to the next stage. The wait then begins to be invited to apply for residence.
Stage 2. Application
When applying for residence, the Immigration NZ (INZ) cost is $4890.00. This, as you can see, is a substantial cost based on the considerable processing needed to be done by INZ staff.
The cost of Atesh fully organising your package of presentable information is an additional cost to the INZ figure mentioned earlier. Atesh, determines his costs based on the amount of time he dedicatee’s to launching the online EOI and then the residence application when invited to do so by INZ. Costs vary as individual circumstances vary.
The time it will take for INZ to fully process a skilled migrant application is yet to be determined and at this point, it is deemed unhelpful to guess. INZ will release timeframes later when their processing is flowing smoothly again.
